FIRAS AUDIT SUCCESS FOR FIRESAFE PARTNER

Haslingden,UK – Congratulations to our Licensed Manufacturing Partner, Caswell, for their recent success in passing their annual FIRAS audit.

The audit included a visit to review one of their on-going CASWELL FIRESAFE® supply and installation projects at Oxygen Towers, Manchester; and, specifically, the life-safety critical smoke extract systems they have fitted there.

In addition, more Caswell Group operatives are now qualified as FIRAS-accredited Technicians and their Contracts Manager, Graeme Hayhoe, has been approved to Supervisor level.Graeme Hayhoe,Caswell FRD

FIRAS logo FIRAS is a voluntary, third party certification scheme for installation contractors of both passive and active fire protection systems, operated by Warringtonfire and accredited by UKAS to BS EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012.
It is the mark of endorsement of competency and instrumental in improving the installation and maintenance standards.

CASWELL FIRESAFE® non-coated fire resisting ductwork systems are classed as Passive Fire Protection and have achieved verified fire resistance to protect against the spread of fire from one compartment to another.

They provide this assurance without the need for enclosures, spray coatings or fabric coverings.
